The Tennessee League of the South promotes the distinctly social nature of Southerners. Taking our cue from the times ‘round the stove at the old general store, or evenings singing on the front porch, or Sunday afternoon singin’-on-the-ground, Southerners enjoy getting together with food, music and conversation.
Every genre of American music has come from the south, be it gospel, R&B, country, blues, jazz, or rock & roll. The South can boast the best preachers, the best whiskey, the best cookin’, and the most beautiful girls. And Southerners enjoy a party.
