Your Real Enemy

Early Saturday morning (28 August), a fire was reported at the construction site of the new Islamic Center of Murfreesboro.  A simple case of vandalism is now being investigated by the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office, the BATFE (the Empire's Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives), the FBI (the Empire's Federal Bureau of Investigation), and the Empire's Department of Homeland Security.  Four policing agencies!!

The vandalism is sure to be prosecuted as a "hate crime."  Actual death threats against leaders of a group opposing the Islamic Center are on the other hand simply "nuisance calls" (as perhaps answering the phone and only hearing heavy breathing on the line).

The Tennessee League of the South is going on record as being an advocate of personal property rights.  Whatever an owner wishes to do with their property is their privilege.  This stand is in direct opposition to the stance taken by numerous government agencies as well as the U.S. Supreme Court which has approved the confiscation of private property is it suits the "greater good" of the community.

We take issue with the Empire situated in Washington, DC-it has become your enemy.  The minions of the Columbian Empire believe your property belongs to you only as long they do not need it.

The Empire is waging an undeclared war against its own citizens.  Emperor G.W. Bush told us that we needed to send our soldiers to Iraq and Afghanistan so we could "take the war to them."  But at the very same time, through relaxed (or non-existent) immigration policies, the Empire has welcomed terrorists and their financiers to our own shores.

Is there any other explanation for the marked increase in Islamic activity in Tennessee and elsewhere than that the Empire has declared a cultural war on its own citizens?

Who is the real enemy to you and your family?  The terrorist in Afghanistan or your friend in the Empire's bureaucracy who smiles and says, "Hello, I'm from the government and I'm here to help you" while importing a terrorist to live next door?

The Columbian Empire is not your friend.  It wants to destroy you.

Give me a sovereign and Free Tennessee Nation.

What Is Liberty?

In June 1850 a pamphlet appeared in France written by Frederic Bastiat (1801-1850) entitled The Law.  It was a logical presentation of the fallacies of socialism.  France was struggling with the effects of the socialist Revolution of February 1848.

Tennesseans are now struggling with the socialist revolution which took place during the election of November 2008.  Bastiat’s words have never been so applicable.  Here are quoted two paragraphs under the heading “What Is Liberty?”

Actually, what is the political struggle that we witness?  It is the instinctive struggle of all people toward liberty.  And what is this liberty, whose very name makes the heart beat faster and shakes the world?  Is it not the union of all liberties—liberty of conscience, of education, of association, of the press, of travel, of labor, of trade?  In short, is not liberty the freedom of every person to make full use of his faculties, so long as he does not harm other persons while doing so?  Is not liberty the destruction of all despotism—including, of course, legal despotism?  Finally, is not liberty the restricting of the law only to its rational sphere of organizing the right of the individual to lawful self-defense; of punishing injustice?

It must be admitted that the tendency of the human race toward liberty is largely thwarted, especially in France.  This is greatly due to a fatal desire—learned from the teachings of antiquity—that our writers on public affairs have in common: They desire to set themselves above mankind in order to arrange, organize, and regulate it according to their fancy.

Today we face the most obnoxious of “legal despotisms.”  We have officials—both elected and appointed—who truly believe that they have a superior intellect than the rest of the population in the Empire.  Those officials who reside not only in the District of Columbia, but are also scattered across the continent have set themselves “to arrange, organize, and regulate it according to their fancy.”

It is the responsibility of those who truly love liberty to understand the lies of the Empire.  It is also our responsibility to shine the light of reason upon those lies and teach others to do the same.

Ichabod

I am just getting warm and fuzzy all over.  On Friday the 13th (is there some irony in that?), Emperor Obama “weighed in forcefully” in support of religious freedom in America.  He feels that the building of a “worship and community center” within the shadow of the collapsed World Trade Center towers is simply a matter of staying “true to our core values.”

At a White House observation of the beginning of Ramadan, he told a group of Muslims that he believes “That Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as everyone else in this country.”

I am a firm supporter of property rights.  The use of regulatory authority to limit what an owner does with their property it tantamount to theft.  So, I can't object to the building of a mosque.

But here’s my problem.  My problem is with the nature of the Emperor’s magnanimous support.  Obama called the mosque a “worship and community center.”  That is a benign terminology of the real purpose of the build-out.  Somehow the picture of seniors exercising to water ballet just doesn’t fit my concept of “Muslim community.”  The community that has been built in too many mosques has involved high explosives.  Not a good thing.

Then there is the Emperor’s assertion of “as everyone else in this country.”  Who is the “everyone else?”  It can’t be Christians.  Christians have been watching their symbols and prayers and even themselves be shut out of event after event and community after community across the empire!  When I was invited to offer prayer to begin a session of the U.S. House of Representatives, I was politely told that I should not pray in “Jesus’ name” because it might offend someone and thus be in bad taste.  (I did it anyway!)

The un-reverend Rick “purpose-driven-church” Warren did mention Jesus in his invocation at the Obama inauguration, but then Rick included Jesus as one in a whole list of false and demonic gods.  Good going, Rick!

In the Old Testament, there is the story of such corruption in the priesthood that a priest’s wife gives birth and then dies.  Her last words are the naming of her son, Ichabod – “the glory has departed.”  We have to come to grips with this fact … the glory has departed America.  We cannot ask, “God bless America,” because God has never made a habit of blessing what has already been cursed.

America is gone.  It is being ruled by the most corrupt of overlords.  Our only hope is to break away and become a free and independent Tennessee nation.

The Best Solution

The economic crisis is being sustained by bureaucrats and economists that cannot reason from cause to effect.  Banks continue to collapse under the weight of debt on home mortgages which they were required to make by the Feds in the first place.

Recently I haven’t seen much media coverage about bank failures, the latest of which was last Friday, 6 August.  I know that I have written about this before, but I just can’t get it out of my mind.  We are being reassured by the insiders in Washington that the economy is turning around (ever so slowly, mind you) and we are all in for better days ahead, but the reality of staggering unemployment figures begs to differ.  Here is a month by month accounting of unemployment as it has spread across our land. (A more detailed version is here)

Obama’s stimulus package was another temporary and failed effort by the Empire to provide bread and circuses for the rabble.  Here in tiny Perry County, Tennessee the unemployment figures dropped from over 25% to 17% overnight.  On 30 September 2010, the money runs out and three hundred (300) people will again be without income.  Some businesses thought they had found the fountain of prosperity with stimulus money – workers they didn’t have to pay for.  Now reality is hitting – without more government money, doors are going to close.  Small local banks across the continent are going to feel the pinch of debtors not being able to pay.

A January article by Martin D. Weiss, Ph.D., published on Money and Markets was titled, "200 Bank Failures in 2010."  Only one hundred forty banks failed in 2009.  Weiss made a great case for the validity of his article’s title.  And as of last Friday, one hundred nine (109) banks have failed in 2010.  We are well on our way to a new record!

It continues to amaze me that banks almost always fail on a Friday.  I am sure that the FDIC’s explanation for this is that it gives them the weekend to sell the balance sheets to another, larger, and more capable banker AND be able to open the doors to customers on Monday without causing a panic.  (I am sure that these bureaucrats work weekends!!)  Of course, the FDIC is making good on deposits by using more tax dollars than those already used to bail out the Big Boys (I’m not talking burgers here).

The best solution remains … secession.  Leave the mess in the laps of the Wall Street manipulators.  Apart from Florida and the Atlanta area of Georgia, which have been greatly corrupted by the predatory methods of Wall Street, the thirteen states of the Old South have experienced only twelve bank failures.

Tennessee has not had one bank failure this year.

Let’s get rid of our over-lords and become a free Tennessee Nation.  We may not do everything right, but we surely won’t do everything as wrong as Washington and Wall Street does.

Those That Call Evil Good

Just finished reading Nullification, How to Resist Federal Tyranny in the 21st Century by Thomas E. Woods, Jr.  He makes the following statement in the final chapter.

“Note that our wise public servants are not portrayed as having sinister motives.  From time to time they may make “mistakes,” but their intentions are good and they seek only to serve us.  Those who resist them, on the other hand, are wicked and perverse.”

Politicians make themselves out to be virtuous.  Although the print and broadcast media salivate at the thought of a politician caught up in a salacious scandal, they will close ranks around that official who is accused of wrong-doing by any average citizen.  The talking heads routinely express a haughty distain for the “obviously unenlightened” souls who would point out moral deficiencies or legal wanderings in government.

It brings to my mind verses from Isaiah, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!  Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!”  (5:20,21)

When everything has become convoluted, the end in near.  The advantage which only the Christian has in this as in any conflict is that we know Truth will prevail.  With no king but King Jesus, we win.  It does not matter what defamatory remarks are made about those who would speak out for responsible government.  It matters only that we stand for truth.

The biblical foundations of the united States were beginning to be removed when the ink was still drying on the Constitution.  The republic ceased to exist under Lincoln.  It morphed into an Empire which may just cease to exist under Obama.

As sure as empires rise, they fall.  As sure as empires fall, there will be freedom-loving souls who will labour to establish new and legitimate civil governments.

Sara Hill on Chemistry & Physics

Today, the Tennessee Nation blog hosts a guest writer for the first time. Her name is Sara Hill and lives in Alabama.

Chemistry & Physics
My favorite professor in college was a chemistry teacher who wore a big, fat cigar in the corner of his mouth like women wear jewelry. When he lectured, he drove me crazy putting that slobbered-over cigar in his mouth and taking it out again.

But he was so popular and my class so large that I never did make it up to the front of the auditorium after class to have a friendly chat with him about isomers of hydrocarbons before a long line of others with similar intentions had formed. I gave up trying about mid-semester.

But a story he told has stayed with me. Before he became a professor, he was a chemist in research and development for some large corporation. He concocted a product he thought would be a major breakthrough because it totally eliminated household dust.

It had only one problem, he said.

He took the cigar out of his mouth, and with his signature smirk and his eyes dancing over the auditorium, he said, "It was radioactive." Then he clamped his jaw back down over the cigar.

Bet you didn't know there was a physics lesson in chemistry. It's this: for every action to solve a problem, there is an equal and opposite reaction creating a problem that is twice as difficult to solve as the original.

You would think the U.S. government would have caught on to this one by now and left well enough alone!

Thank you Sara!  Apparently, no one in the Empire's machinery is as perceptive as you and your chemistry professor.

It's Time to Repent

Was Obama born in these united States?  Is he a “natural born” citizen as the Constitution requires him to be in order to hold the office of President?

I have to admit that his employment of lawyers to prevent the release of any birth records (as well as other items such as his college owrk) is enough evidence to convince me that he is not eligible to hold office.

At one point, Congressman Marsha Blackburn said that she and others were sponsoring legislation that would in the future require candidates to submit birth records prior to filing to run for President.  Not sure any legislation was actually filed.  But apparently no one in Washington is brave enough to ask hard questions anymore.

Yesterday, Jerome R. Corsi posted an article on WorldNetDaily.com concerning the issue of Obama’s mother’s passport records having been “destroyed.”  Interesting!

Maybe I have overlooked it, but the most interesting tidbits in Corsi’s article were these:

  • when Ann Dunham applied for a U.S. passport from Jakarta, Indonesia in 1981, she “indicated hat she was in Indonesia working on a two-year contract from the Ford Foundation, from January 1981 through December 1982.”
  • and, “Ann Dunham was working on a microfinance program for the Ford Foundation, which was overseen by Peter Geithner, the father of Timothy Geithner, the current U.S. secretary of the treasury.”

This is the stuff of Hollywood conspiracy flicks! A birth under mysterious circumstances… a mother working as a functionary for an organization whose tentacles encompass the globe… the organization actively promotes global government... the mother's supervisor is tightly connected to global financial institutions... government documents gone missing… the election of a “world leader” with questionable credentials… the leader refuses to acknowledge his anti-Christian Muslim faith.

Just when maybe you’re not sure that this nation deserves God’s judgment, something like this comes along that yells, no screams, “REPENT!”
