Days of Special Observance

Pursuant to the provisions of Tennessee Code Annotated Section 15-2-101,
each year it shall be the duty of the governor to proclaim the following
as days of special observance.

Robert E. Lee Day .......... January 19
Andrew Jackson Day .......... March 15
Confederate Decoration Day .......... June 3
Nathan Bedford Forrest Day .......... July 13

 

I'll Take My Stand

There is no greater cultural statement than
that made by "Twelve Southerners" who in 1930,
authored the book I'll Take My Stand.

The book has been bound in a special, limited (250 numbered copies) hardcover edition to commemorate the 75th anniversary of its publication.

It is available for a $75 donation to
the Kershaw Foundation which
supports Southern artists and authors.
